The Indiana County PC Users Group (ICPCUG) holds its monthly meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at the IUP campus.

Eric Barker will present the featured program -- a demonstration of the Facebook web site, the setup of an ICPCUG page, and general discussion of online social networking.

And in a continuation of the programs held in January (constructing a PC) and February (installing Windows XP), ICPCUG member Ernie Clark will demonstrate how to replace a power supply and discuss problems experienced with show the proper installation of the Windows XP operating system. This will be a hands-on demonstration for any interested member.

The meeting, as always, includes open discussion of all technology issues including hardware, software, peripheral products and legal issues. The members' forum includes opportunities for trouble-shooting and learning how to make the most efficient use of computers, networks and the Internet.

ICPCUG is open to the public and to people of all experience levels -- casual home users, workplace users, professionals and developers.

As a reminder, the group now meets at Room 111 of the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology (ECOBIT) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The Eberly building is behind the "Governors' Quad" dormitories (take South 11th Street from the Maple Street intersection). It shares a SPACIOUS parking lot with the IUP football stadium and basketball fieldhouse.
