Membership Recruitment
at the Indiana Mall!
Our thanks to the Management of the Indiana Mall for allowing us the use
of their kiosk-style community booth to help us reach the public!
This was our first 'outreach' program. ICPUG members brought computers
and accessories for demonstrations of PC technology:
-
Loren Greene brought in a digital camera, photographed the booth as it
was set up for our display, and displayed the photos on screen...
-
Eric Barker supplied a scanner and printer, to offer scans and customized
prints of visitors' wallet photos...
-
Chauncey Ross brought a CD-Writer to show how CD's can be made in minutes...
-
Steve Higgins, Larry Rodack, Jim Crissman, Marian Mihalcik, and others
(sorry if I missed you!) also spent time at the Indiana Mall booth.
Here are some of the folks who visited the ICPUG booth at the Indiana Mall...
One of our favorite displays that captured folks' attention was this
digital movie about the computer frustrations expressed by a Dilbert kind
of guy....
All-in-all, it was a successful eventure for the Indiana County PC Users
Group. People learned about the ICPUG and we generated some new memberships.
