Membership Recruitment
at the Indiana Mall!
Our thanks to the Management of the Indiana Mall for allowing us the
use of their kiosk-style community booth to help us reach the public!
Club members brought in their own units for demonstrations of Internet
and other tasks:
-
Ivan Porter set up his laptop, equipped with the Snapper! and a camcorder
to display instant images of the surroundings...
-
Eric Barker supplied a scanner and printer, to offer scans and customized
prints of visitors' wallet photos...
-
Chauncey Ross tore open his "Silicon Phantom" to install a new hard drive...
-
Larry Rodack, Jim Crissman, Marian Mihalcik, and others also spent time
at the Indiana Mall booth.
Big highlight/frustration/thrill/challenge of the day was getting
the JamCam to function! The final results...the evidence of our adventure
(clockwise from top left): Marian Mihalcik, Ivan Porter & Jim Crissman,

JamCam stuff!
Thanks also to the Indiana Mall maintenance crew for dropping the A/C
and telco cables for our use at the community booth.
It proved to be a productive weekend. People learned about the ICPUG
and we got a new member or two. We hope to do this again... during the
holiday shopping season!
