Subject: The Palm Pilot connected organizer.

Guest speaker Dana Henry demonstrated the Palm III organizer by 3Com, by way of a Power Point presentation, a visit to the Palm web site, distribution of 3Com literature, and use of the Palm III itself.

The demonstration included the synchronization function, and the Palm's port, cable, and infrared interface capabilities with desktop units and other portable organizers.

Dana explained the different functions of the Palm Pilot and how he uses it in his busy schedule as President of the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce. Two members in attendance briefly demonstrated similar portable organizing devices, allowing a comparison between competing products. Henry's opinion: There is no competition for the Palm Pilot.
